Project Overview
At PA Drones, we were commissioned to support flood management planning in Northumbria. Using our advanced drone LiDAR technology, we carried out a detailed survey to inform future floodplain design and management. Our goal was to provide a highly accurate 3D model of the site, enabling stakeholders to visualise and plan effectively without the need for constant on-site visits.
Scope of Work
For this project, we provided:
- LiDAR Drone Survey: Captured precise elevation data to map terrain and water flow patterns, supporting flood risk assessments.
- 3D Orthomosaic Production: Created a fully interactive 3D model of the site, allowing the client to virtually explore the landscape and understand potential flood zones.
